JAA is an architecture studio that focuses its main activity on architectural design, being also present in other areas, namely in interior architecture, supervision, construction monitoring and consultancy.
Born in Amarante in 1974.
Graduated in architecture by Universidade Lusíada do Porto.
Between 1996 and 2005, has participated in several projects developed by Hugo Silva Architecture Studio.
In 2005, together with another architect, created the architecture studio Bárbara Abreu & João Abreu, Arquitetos.
In 2007, together with other associates, creates the architecture studio ProjekXXI in Portugal and in Angola.
In 2012, creates his own architecture studio JAA | Just an Architect.
The JAA studio seeks to explore new interpretations of contemporary architecture, in order to obtain balanced relationships and forms.
We look for new challenges, with critical vision and that provoke spaces and dimensions, moving the client to obtain new sensations.
