The proposed building takes into account the topography of the plot and the layout of the adjacent streets and is intended for a car retail space, creating a large, single-volume space that houses the entire programme.

The proposal presents a regular design resulting from the polygon of implantation defined for the plot, which culminates in a single volume capable of responding to the intended functional programme.

On the building’s entrance façade, facing Rua Cidade de Aveiro, the glazed openings allow for a visual interplay between the passer-by and the interior exhibition and reception area. The entrance gives access to the reception, the front office and the interior exhibition.

The main façade stands out from the rest. Facing the EN250, it seeks to communicate with the scale of the car, representing the colours and the rest of the brand’s image, functioning doubly as an architectural element and a branding/advertising space. Its image is designed in three parts: glass panels along its entire length at ground level, panels in a gradation of greys at the middle level and panels in red, the brand’s image, at the end of the building.
